Great Grace
In God’s great grace He forgave Eve without telling her the full extent of what He was forgiving her for.
She thought He was forgiving her for disobeying Him by eating some off the menu fruit.
In reality, He was forgiving her for ushering in every heinous sin that has ever and will ever occur.
If she would have known what her rebellious act would later cause, her guilt would have destroyed her.
It’s the same with us.
Let’s look at one of our “simple sins”.
From the physical realm it might look like no big deal.
God alone knows the extent of the damage our disobedience causes in the spiritual realm.
In His great grace He protects us from knowing the degree of damage we’ve caused.
Instead of crippling us with condemnation, He forgives, and forgives, and forgives again.
Are we willing to see our small sins as a big deal?
